4. Stone Drive-In- This classic drive-in has been in operation since the 1950s in Mountain View, and it still retains much of its vintage charm. Exploring Missouri’s Retro Scene
A family vacation to Missouri is almost always a good time, especially if you’re checking out the infamous Branson. But, if a blast from the past is what you’re after, you’ll find these nostalgic destinations in the Show-Me State.
5. Crown Candy Kitchen- Located in St. Louis, this old-fashioned candy shop and soda fountain has been around since 1913. Sit back and relax with an old tiny phosphate drink or handmade malts and shakes. You can watch candy being made on-site while you enjoy the atmosphere.
6. Moon Marble Company- This unique store specializes in handmade marbles, glass art, and toys located in Bonner Springs. Visitors can watch marbles being made on site, browse the gift shop for a variety of nostalgic toys and games, or even play with some of the display toys.
7. World’s Largest Toy Museum- This must-see museum is a toy enthusiast’s dream (and we’re pretty sure it’s the inspiration in Toy Story 4). Tour a display of over 1 million toys from different eras going back to the 1800s to the present day. Barbies, Star Wars figures, and vintage board games, oh my!

8. Route 66 Museum- Celebrate the historic Route 66 highway in Lebanon. The museum features a variety of attractions, from vintage cars to roadside signs. Visitors will learn about the people, businesses, and landmarks that made Route 66 such an essential part of American history.
